Here's an amazing vintage 1980s Oval Enamel Ware Bread Box kitchen storage container with a retro 1950s sensibility. Curved and streamlined, yet very roomy, like an airstream for your kitchen! By Typhoon.
Made of metal, enameled true red. Oval door in front flips down on a long horizontal hinge. With a curvilinear chrome pipe handle near the top that echoes the shape of the box. The door secures with two magnets. The bread box sits atop two long, curvy chrome pipe legs.
Measures 18 inches across X 9 1/4 inches high X 7 3/4 inches deep. Bright and clean, inside and out. Fully operational. The brand name Typhoon is stamped at the bottom of the door; there is also a triangular Typhoon sticker on the base of the bread box.
