It is ground from a solid blank of 8 mm (.310 inch) thick tool steel, so will never go out of square. All faces and edges are ground and lapped for straightness and parallelism. There is a groove milled in the inner corner to provide clearance for burrs and debris. Manufactured to strict German DIN 875/00 standards and guaranteed square to within 4 microns or 0.0001 inches (that’s one ten-thousandths of an inch). Includes signed inspection certificate.
