1982 Space Adventure Cobra Ironhead Iron Head Original Anime Production Cel #1

For sale is a original hand-painted Space Adventure Cobra production cel. This is an actual cel created and used for the production of the 1982 film. This cel is in poor condition. Cels often deteriorate if not kept in the ideal conditions, and unfortunately this cel has not been well stored the past 40 years. Due to this the celluloid sheet has notable ripples/bends throughout, the cel has a notable chemical paint smell, and the paint has sweat causing there to be a thin oily layer across the back. There is also standard surface wear throughout due to being used for production. Please carefully review the provided pictures.

The cel has been gently wiped of excess sweat and stored in a fresh sleeve. It's being stored a method that allows the cel to breathe to ensure it doesn't further wear down while in my ownership. Despite the aforementioned issues the illustration itself is still beautiful, and if touched up and flattened/framed it will make an excellent addition to a collection.
